Disassembly of Intake Manifold and Air Crossover Pipe
- If the air crossover pipe joint has not been removed, it should be removed first.
- Remove the intake manifold or intercooler. During disassembly, attention should be paid to protecting the sealing surface of the manifold to avoid deformation affecting the intake efficiency.
Fuel Manifold Disassembly
The fuel manifold is connected to each cylinder head. Remove the connecting screws and discard the O-rings. During disassembly, ensure that all connecting screws have been removed to avoid damaging the manifold due to forced disassembly.
Cam Follower Cover Disassembly
There are crankcase vents and/or oil fill ports on the two cam follower covers, and all covers are interchangeable. There is no need to distinguish the order during removal, but marks should be made to facilitate subsequent installation.
Piston Cooling Nozzle Disassembly
Remove the slotted screw or ordinary screw that fastens the nozzle to the cylinder block, and remove the nozzle. During disassembly, attention should be paid to the force to prevent damage to the nozzle hole of the nozzle, which affects the subsequent piston cooling effect.
