Disassembly of Oil Pan and Connecting Box
- Remove the cover of the oil pan connecting box.
- Dismantle the oil pan from the connecting box.
- Remove all screws that fasten the connecting box to the cylinder block and the screws that secure the oil pan baffle (if used) to the connecting box. Before removing the connecting box, the screws that fix the oil suction pipe to the connecting box and the cylinder block must be removed first.
- Remove the screws that fasten the connecting box to the flywheel housing and the gear chamber cover.
- Disassemble the connecting box and the oil suction pipe assembly.
- Remove the oil suction pipe assembly from the connecting box.
Disassembly of Gear Chamber Steel Plate
- Remove all screws from the steel plate.
- Take off the steel plate. During disassembly, pay attention to the installation direction of the steel plate and make marks to facilitate subsequent installation.
Disassembly of Flywheel
- Remove two diametrically opposite flywheel mounting screws.
- Install two 5/8-18 guide studs on the crankshaft flange to support the flywheel during disassembly.
- Remove the remaining mounting screws from the flywheel, and install two 1/2-13 full-length threaded screws to eject the flywheel when removing it from the crankshaft.
- Take off the flywheel. During operation, pay attention to safety to prevent personal injury or component damage caused by the heavy weight of the flywheel.
